SEGMENTED BOWLS
Segmented bowls are made by gluing hundreds pieces of exotic hardwoods together in a pattern, then turned on a lathe to its final shape. The finish on these bowls is typically a wiped-on polyurethane – an extremely durable, food-safe finish – that will keep these bowls looking beautiful for a very long time. While it is safe to use these bowls for food, keep in mind that some foods can stain, and will probably ruin the finish.
